Fitment Types

Straight, Stretched, or Meaty - Different Tire Fitment Styles for Different Builds

1. Square / Straight-Sidewall Fitment

The tire sidewall sits relatively straight on the wheel, giving a balanced and clean contact shape. This is the most common and most versatile fitment style. Best for daily driving, street performance, circuit & track use. This provides stable handling, cleaner grip balance, better all-around tire support.

2. Mild Stretched / Angled Fitment

The tire is slightly narrower than the wheel, creating a subtle inward sidewall angle. This is often used when extra fender or steering clearance is needed while keeping a sporty look. Best for drift, stance-inspired street cars, aggressive fitment builds. This provides more clearance, sharper visual fitment, useful on lower or wider setups.

3. Aggressive Stretch / Strong Angled Fitment

The sidewall pulls inward more visibly, giving the tire a pronounced angled shape. This style is usually chosen for appearance or specific clearance needs rather than maximum grip. Best for stance builds, show cars, some drift applications. This provides extreme fitment look, wheel visibility, extra clearance in tight setups

4. Meaty / Bulged Fitment

The tire is wider relative to the wheel, giving the sidewall a fuller, rounder shape. This setup is often chosen when grip, impact absorption, and sidewall support matter more than a flush visual look. Best for drag, rally-style builds, rough-road performance, traction-focused street setups. This provides more sidewall support, stronger traction feel, better protection for the wheel.
